Paradox has been designed and built as an offshore racing trimaran for short and single handed sailing. She is an ideal boat for events such as OSTAR and for RORC races.
The
accommodation area is surprisingly spacious, due to the siting of the
daggerboards in the outriggers.
There is a rudder on each outrigger, as well as the main hull, which combined with the twin dagger boards makes Paradox manoeuvre like a dinghy.
Plugs
and moulds were made for both the main hull and outriggers to ensure the highest
build quality and strength. She has been built in glassfibre with isothalic
polyester resin and PVC foam core with alloy crossbeams. All the gear has been
bought new during the build of the boat.
